Hi there! I am Saki. Thank you for checking my profile. I live in Fukuoka. I studied English in college and have lived in the U.S. for 10 years, so you don't need to worry even if you are a complete beginner in learning Japanese! ✌

Studying a new language is hard and scary! I know, I'm right there with you! I have a lot of friends who study Japanese. Seeing them learning Japanese made me want to help them, so I decided to become a teacher. I know how frustrating it is to not be able to say what you want to say in a different language. I can be very patient because I understand the difficulty of learning languages. With me, you don't need to be afraid of making mistakes!😉My lessons & teaching style

Never studied Japanese before? No worries! Let's start with Hiragana! I use Genki, Nakama and other textbooks for this lesson. You will be able to say things like...
"This movie was very boring!"
"Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to Tokyo Station?"

My lessons with Saki have improved my Japanese so much, going through the Genki textbook on my own has became exponentially easier and everything I have learned with Saki has not left my mind, consistently practicing former grammar points from earlier lessons has really helped ingrain them into my long term knowledge and I look forward to what I am going to learn every lesson!

Another good class from the amazing teacher. 😎 First off, she was so polite and patient when I told her that I would be a bit late to this class. (I was about five minutes late).
Then, we got down to learning and she taught me more about the nuances of Japanese. This time I learned about the particle な at the end of a sentence and the maaany, many uses of it.
We also had a good time talking, in general, about things like expensive concert tickets and doing Tai Chi and her officially become a professional teacher!!!! Though from the start of our classes, she was already exhibiting amazing teaching skills like that of a professional teacher 😀😀😀😀.
I can't get enough of her class and I can't thank her more for such an amazing class. 5 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to book another class 😄
