Hi! I’m Anka, an empathetic guide to the Polish language – and I know exactly how it feels to learn one! (I’ve made it to Italian C1 and English B2 myself.) That’s why I turn every stumble into real progress — with patience, energy, and a little fun along the way.

✔️ I bring Polish to life with travel tips, everyday slang, and local humor — so you’re not just memorizing words, you’re living the language.

✔️I will do my best so you will speak starting from the first lesson.
✔️ If you already know some basics, I advise you to book the lesson: Start speaking Polish, where I will prepare a customized lesson just for you.
✔️ If you feel like the Conversation lesson is what you need, I will send you some articles, films and vocabulary you can read before, so during the lesson you can use new words in contexts and remember them better.
✔️If you are intermediate or advanced You can send me videos or articles which interest you.

Master's - Teaching Polish as a foreign and second languageIn June 2022 I've finished postgraduate studies "Teaching Polish as a foreign and second language" at the Pedagogical University in Kraków. This course lasted two semesters, form 10.2021 to 06.2022.
The curriculum has been designed to prepare students for teaching Polish as a foreign language, to adults and children.
The curriculum consists of subjects in four blocks: Polish language glottodidactics; knowledge of the language; literature and culture.

I have now spent more than a year taking lessons from Anka biweekly and have noticed a dramatic improvement in my Polish proficiency - from basic, barely A1 last year to a strong A2 level now. She is excellent at sensing when I can continue the conversation in Polish, and when I am struggling too much in Polish and we need to revert to English to explain a key vocabulary or grammar point.
I plan to continue learning with Anka for some time into the future, as I am very pleased with my progress!
