Chi

I’ve taken around 30 hours of classes with Chi, and my Vietnamese has improved significantly. I started as a complete beginner, learning everything from the alphabet to pronunciation. Chi consistently corrects my pronunciation while creating a supportive and encouraging environment. She's highly qualified, patient, and always adapts her teaching to your level and pace. I really appreciate my learning journey with her — the detailed notes she takes during each class are incredibly helpful for reviewing and tracking my progress. I highly recommend learning Vietnamese with Chi!

Chi is hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. She comes prepared with exercises and homework, and she’s always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get the practice you need. Even when you’re feeling discouraged, she’s there to motivate you. Chi doesn’t just teach the language—she also shares insights into Vietnamese culture and explains the origins of certain words. Her lessons are always engaging and interactive, and I notice improvement every time. I’m incredibly grateful to have Chi as my teacher, she truly is the best.

I always appreciate the way Chi chooses new and interesting conversation topics to help me build my vocabulary. Today we talked about some of the challenges of living in a big city. I learned dozens of new words today. Chi is a very effective teacher who always picks topics which are just above my level to stretch my abilities. This teaching strategy has allowed me to build my vocabulary rapidly.

I wish I had recorded my first lesson with Chi. I feel like I have improved so much in my comprehension, pronunciation, and vocabulary with her guidance. I want to turn back time and see how I spoke back then at that first lesson. She has fixed so many of my mistakes and she has helped me grow and converse in deep and challenging topics. Thank you Chi for motivating me to always do my best to learn as much as I can. Thank you Chi for all of your great discussion topic ideas that challenge me to build my vocabulary in every lesson.

Chi is a fabulous teacher, I have taken many language lessons in the past and have had many levels of teachers, Chi is at the top, I could not recommend her more highly
