Community Tutor with dedicated and results-driven teaching style! My name is George and I am from Liverpool in the North-West of England but have lived in London for the past six years. I studied Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama which is part of the University of London and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019. I also achieved A-Level qualifications in both English Literature and English Language. Whether due to exploring the works of Shakespeare or simply because I love the different dialects and colloquialisms on offer throughout the UK, I have always had a huge interest in language and would love to help anyone who would also love to immerse themselves in English. I understand that every student will require different needs and want to achieve different goals so I am passionate about catering individually to each student. This will begin with a conversation about what you want from the lesson/s and we can move on from there, whether that be with formal lesson plans or a more relaxed conversational approach where we can work on oral communication as and when details pop up. I am very passionate about making the lessons about the specific individual and so would be on hand to help with any query or problem that the student has. I feel that flexibility is key to helping someone learn to their maximum potential, though structure planning will help us move forward.

Heartfelt Thanks to George A huge thank you to George for the pronunciation and accent lesson he conducted for us! The session exceeded all our expectations. George created an incredibly friendly atmosphere where we felt completely comfortable experimenting and making mistakes. It was truly inspiring and motivated us to keep improving!
