Hello, I’m Marvin, I am a full time English teacher who has taught English as a second language in China for more than two years. In my spare time, I enjoy tutoring and meeting new students from around the globe. I have traveled to more than 50 countries around the world. As a result, I have met and taught many students from many different backgrounds and cultures. I am interested in becoming your next English teacher. I am a certified scuba diver and fitness trainer who enjoys exercising and outdoor activities. Sports and athletics are my specialties. I have a Bachelor degree in PRINCIPLES and METHODS of Language Education. I have also been a Certified TEFL/TESOL ENGLISH Language Teacher for more than 4 years. Additionally, I am also currently learning Mandarin Chinese language, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. Learning a new language can be fun, void of undue pressures. It’s my aim to have you enjoy learning English naturally with me. My teaching style is both Interactive and participatory. In my class you will learn naturally by regular use of audio-visuals, and hands on demonstrations. I have a variety of interesting lessons and learning materials to keep you engaged in learning English in a lively atmosphere. Furthermore, I am a really responsible, kind and patient teacher. I will teach you to analyze text, utilize grammar, read, listen and write. I will help you employ these skills in real life circumstances using functional language.
