Hey!
My name is Line, I am 30 years old and I live in Uppsala, Sweden.
I am born and raised in Norway, so I am native in Norwegian, but I am also fluent in English. I have an International Master degree in marine biology and I enjoy hiking, climbing and travelling.
I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about a variety of cultures. I have friends from many different backgrounds and have been a newcomer to countries, so I know what it feels like to start anew with a new culture and language - it can be quite overwhelming!Me as a Teacher
My teaching style is based on each student individually, as I believe everyone is different and learns in different ways.
My aim is to make the lessons fun and interesting, as I myself have found these to be important factors in retaining interest and engagement in lessons I have taught or been taught in the past.
Before we begin, information about yourself and the type of lessons / teaching you're looking for is necessary for me to adequately prepare 😊 My lessons & teaching style
First we establish your level and what is the best way for you to learn. Then based on your level, we will have lessons where you practise speaking as much as possible, in order for you to feel comfortable speaking Norwegian. Some topics we can talk about are current affairs, read Norwegian news stories together, Norwegian culture, Norwegian movies and TV-series, or whatever topic you are into.
I also have a variety of learning resources, so you can prepare and practise on your own as well (if that is something you wish), or we can go through them together.My teaching material
