Experienced TEFL certified English and French tutor for Adults and Kids. Hello ! My name is Diane. I am a native English and French speaker from Cameroon, living in Canada. I hold a Master of Sciences in Natural Sciences from the University of North Dakota, USA. I am currently exploring different cultures across North America while doing what I'm passionate about, teaching! Aside from teaching, I really enjoy singing, dancing and travels. I've helped foreigners speak English from France, Spain, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and many other countries over the years. I work hard to make my students feel comfortable and confident in their ability at whatever level they happen to have. I'm punctual, reliable and fun, always doing my best to make my classes applicable to the real world. My lessons focus much more on the basic rules of grammar and French conjugation. For my conversational lessons, they are adapted to the learner's needs. To teach, I use a skill approach. That is to say that by using well-defined oral or written exercises, I assess the learner's ability in order to know his actual level. Thereafter, I adapt his learning to the learner's daily life to allow him to better understand the lesson. My lessons therefore respect a well defined program both by the learner and by me, then are interactive, objective and participative.
