Hallo! Mijn naam is Floor en ik ben 22 jaar oud. Ik studeer momenteel voedingsmiddelentechnologie aan de universiteit van Wageningen in Nederland. Ik heb heel veel hobby's, maar talen leren is toch mijn favoriet. Hello! My name is Floor and I am 22 years old. I am currently studying Food Technology at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. I have many hobbies, but language learning is still my favorite. ¡Hola! Mi nombre es Floor y tengo 22 años. Al momento estudio tecnología de alimentos en la Universidad de Wageningen en los Países Bajos. Tengo muchos aficiones, pero aprender idiomas sigue siendo mi favorito.

Me as a Teacher

Als lerares ben ik rustig en sta ik open voor elke vraag die je hebt. Mijn doel is om zowel een lerares als een vriendin te zijn, iemand die je kan helpen om je Nederlands te versterken en tegelijkertijd iemand met wie je het leuk kunt hebben. Ik geloof dat leren leuk moet zijn en daarom probeer ik mijn lessen zo informeel mogelijk te houden. As a teacher I am relaxed and you can ask me anything. I try to be both a teacher and a friend, someone who can help you to strengthen your Dutch while having fun. Como maestra soy relajada y me puedes preguntar cualquier cosa. Trato de ser profesora y amiga, alguien que pueda ayudar a fortalecer tu neerlandés mientras se divierte.

My lessons & teaching style

Persoonlijk geloof ik dat een taal het beste geleerd kan worden door veel te praten en te luisteren. Ik probeer ervoor te zorgen dat mijn studenten zich comfortabel voelen om het Nederlands echt te gaan gebruiken. Dit stimuleer ik door een gesprek te hebben die je ook met een vriendin zou hebben, maar dan in het Nederlands. I personally believe that the best way to learn a language is by speaking and listening a lot. I stimulate this by having a conversation that you could also have with a friend, but now in Dutch. Personalmente creo que la mejor manera de aprender un idioma es hablando y escuchando mucho. Estimulo esto teniendo una conversación que también podrías tener con una amiga.

Floor stands out among Dutch tutors with her flexibility regarding schedule and the way lessons are held. Also she is probably one of the most cost effective tutors from Netherlands. She is able to keep always the conversation going, is friendly and open. I felt very confortable practicing my rough Dutch and it was a very good lesson.
