Hello! I'm an English teacher from Arizona in the United States. I have twelve years of teaching experience, having taught in the USA, Japan, Czechia, and Egypt. I've just moved to Medellín, Colombia, and I'm really enjoying it so far. In my free time, I read lots of books and travel whenever I can. I'm an upbeat, experienced teacher who focuses on communication. I think that it's important to do a variety of exercises so that you get practice in different aspects of the language, but no matter what class you take with me, there will be a lot of opportunities to speak and voice your own opinions. I offer Conversation, General English, and Business English lessons. The Conversation course is intended for levels B2 and above, and is useful for conversation practice and maintaining your English level. We can talk about whatever you want in these classes. The General English and Business English courses are intended for levels A2 and above. We will do a variety of speaking, listening, reading, and grammar exercises, mixed in with discussion about the topics being covered. We can also do writing exercises at your request. General English covers many topics, while Business English covers topics mainly found in corporate offices. I also offer trial lessons and proofreading services.Certificates
Reference Letter - Channel Crossings Language and Education Agency - 2023I taught Business English for 5 years (2018-2023) at a private language school in the Czech Republic.
