Hi! I am all about communication and storytelling. Being an experienced podcaster, a lover of theatre, and an avid writer currently working on my first book, language isn’t just something I teach—it’s something I genuinely enjoy working with every day. I also love traveling and have visited more than 30 countries, which has given me an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. Me as a Teacher

I’m a native English teacher from Wellington, New Zealand, with a BA in English Literature and Spanish and over ten years of experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds. I hold TEFL and TESOL training from the University of Auckland and use a range of techniques—including some unusual but effective ones—to solve pronunciation and grammar problems. I’ve also worked as a TOEFL materials proofreader and IELTS examiner.

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching style is conversation-driven, practical, and personalized. I focus on helping students express themselves clearly and naturally while addressing specific pronunciation and grammar challenges. Drawing on my formal training, as well as more than a decade of experience of coaching and teaching, I have developed a wide range of techniques- many of which are well kept secrets among theatre actors and news reporters, to solve persistent language problems.
