Ciao! Sono Manuela, archeologa e appassionata di lingua italiana. Nata a Trento e vissuta vicino a Roma, ho respirato storia e cultura italiana ogni giorno. La mia laurea in Lettere e anni di scavi archeologici mi hanno insegnato a *raccontare storie*—proprio come faccio nelle mie lezioni! Adoro aiutare studenti a parlare con naturalezza, usando l’italiano della vita reale (con un tocco di eleganza!). Anch’io imparo lo spagnolo per leggere García Márquez in originale: so quanto è emozionante scoprire una lingua! Quando non insegno, disegno, cucio o faccio yoga—ma la mia vera passione? Manuela is an excellent tutor. She is patient and corrects errors with humour and let's you talk while sharing of her experiences so you can practice at your level but also listen to how a native person shapes sentences. A very worthwhile experience that I would certainly repeat.

I have been studding Italian on and off for years but I have always been afraid to speak it. I was so anxious prior to my first class with Manuela and within 15 minutes I realized that I was speaking with her as if I had known her for years. She made me feel very comfortable and we even joked for a while. Understanding humor in a new language is a big step and I can't believe I got there on my first class. I really look forward to continue this learning experience with Manuela.
