I am TEFL certified English teacher and I teach here on Italki, in Chinese school and also have private classes. I also have a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design and communication from University of Arts London and I worked as a 2D graphic designer for several years. I absolutely love teaching English, cycling, brewing and drinking artisan coffee ☕️ I am 44 and I am a mum to 2 boys. Prior to having a family I have enjoyed travelling, learning about different cultures and cuisines. We are now settled in London, UK

Me as a Teacher

I am TEFL certified teacher and have professional, yet fun approach. I am very relaxed and so are my lessons. The core of my teaching method is to provide a pleasant and productive learning environment. My aim is to get you confident for real time scenarios and be confident in speaking. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I help students to improve and thrive. While doing so I get to learn so many interesting things from many parts of the world I have not been to.

My lessons & teaching style

Practising spoken English is of paramount importance, hence my lessons being primarily conversation based. It is also the best and most natural way to discover what you can say and what you can not say ( yet 😉) My lessons are very casual and easy going so the student feels comfortable and relaxed. After initial engagement with new students I tend to establish the individual’s level and respond accordingly with the right level of grammar and pace of my speech. If student finds it useful I like to include articles. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to practise reading, pronunciation and look at grammar. Don’t be shy to make mistakes as this is exactly how you learn.
