Pepe

I had my 2nd class with Pepe. It was excellent!! We reviewed the theme of stereotypes with many questions giving me tons of opportunity to speak Spanish totally during the class with correction of conjugation and development of new vocabulary. He corrected my pronunciation at the end on general mistakes I had been making in words starting in G and J followed by vowels. He is very easy to connect with good sense of humor and highly personable. Great voice and clarity of pronunciation making him very understandable! Have already booked next classes!! I had my first meeting with Pepe today. He was very professional, supportive, comprehensive and enjoyable to engage with!! His voice and Spanish is very clear to listen to. He has a great deep voice which is very clear to listen to..should be a broadcaster. He explored my goals and did a review to get a sense of what I knew and the many things I didn't!!. Gave excellent feedback and wanted ongoing feedback if there were questions or clarification needed. I feel very confident re his abilities and enthusiasm for teaching. Overall excellent!

It was our first lesson and it was a great experience. Pepe is a great teacher for kids - very encouraging, positive, and kind! He's interested to engage kids and to take kid's interests and learning style into account. We plan to keep learning Spanish with him.

Great teacher, listener, and made me feel comfortable with every step. looking forward to future lessons.

Pepe was very fun and friendly. He was patient with my mistakes and corrected them gently.

I really liked Pepe. He did a great job of making it feel safe for me to make mistakes so I could get my practice in (and I make quite a bit since I'm starting out!) I really like how he asks questions throughout the lesson and gives me time to think if I can't come up with a word right away. He is very patient and flexible. Definitely excited for my next lesson with him! For more advanced learners, I think he would be great as a teacher as well. I can understand way more than I can speak at the moment and this man is easy to talk to even if you have little words you can say or want to. Great conversationalist and I imagine that when I am able to say more we'll have no problem carrying conversations together.
