Juana

Juana is patient and encouraging. This was my first session, but I know I am going to learn a lot from her.

I absolutely love taking classes with Juana. Over the past two years, I’ve worked with several Spanish tutors, and while I have one I use mainly for conversation practice, I was looking for someone who could provide more structure and help me strengthen my weak areas. Much of my recent Spanish learning has been self-directed, and Juana has been exactly what I needed. Her classes are well paced, engaging, and never boring. She uses a great variety of activities—listening, speaking, reading out loud, answering questions, and practicing different tenses. She gives excellent feedback, is extremely knowledgeable, and creates a comfortable, non-judgmental learning environment. What I appreciate most is how she gently pushes me through challenging moments, helping me grow without feeling overwhelmed. I truly look forward to our lessons every week. Juana is an outstanding teacher, and I highly recommend her.
