🌟 Native Korean Speaker & Culture Enthusiast 🌟 Born and raised in Korea, Korean is my mother tongue, and I bring an authentic, nuanced understanding of the language that only a native speaker can offer. Growing up with parents who loved to travel from an early age, I developed a deep appreciation for new living environments and diverse cultures. Meeting new people and experiencing different ways of life has always been incredibly exciting for me, and now, I’m thrilled to share that passion with you through the Korean language. My teaching philosophy goes far beyond textbooks—whether you’re passionate about K-dramas, preparing for TOPIK, or simply want to engage in casual conversation.Me as a Teacher
Through my long teaching experience, I can help students achieve their desired learning goals. I always motivate students so that they can reach their desired goals without giving up and lead the class without being bored.
I can create and apply curriculum specific to needs of students (TOPIK, Korean grammar, Korean conversation, K-drama, K-pop etc.) Because the purpose of studying Korean is different for each student, I apply a learning method that is optimized for students. So I use a variety of tools to teach (video, audio, personalized textbooks etc.) My lessons & teaching style
• I have a passionate personality. I always live with an attitude of learning and enthusiasm. Because of this, I can quickly adapt to a new environment and culture. I can easily understand students and form a consensus. I am also well aware that if I don't study and work hard, I can't be a good teacher for my students. I tried other teachers, but Jiyeon is the only teacher I have consistently met with multiple times; she's professional, patient, and willing to meet her students halfway whether its learning a new phrase or working around my schedule. Really amazing teacher!
