Hello everyone! My name is Aleksandra and I am a Polish native speaker and I live in Warsaw. ๐ต๐ฑ I study applied linguistics at University of Warsaw. I chose this faculty because I had been fascinated with language-learning and teaching. ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐I am affable and patient. I adore reading, exploring cultures through travelling. ๐บ I am also interested in film studies. ๐

Me as a Teacher
My philosophy of teaching would be that it should encourage students to speak, ๐ฃ , write ๐, listen ๐ง, give them satisfaction from acquiring new language structures and vocabulary. My aim is to expand studentsโ knowledge by developing their listening skills (providing audios or speaking), reading skills ๐ (by explaining the vocabulary and slowly increasing the level of difficulty of texts), and speaking skills (by making adequate comments and encouraging you to speak from the beginning).
My lessons & teaching style
I have always wanted to share this passion of mine with students and help them get used to speaking, memorising language structures and vocabulary. In my opinion one of the most relevant traits of teaching is choosing the right approach to a student.
That is why I tend to focus firstly on achieving a natural conversation by encouraging a student to speak even a little bit. I use different types of materials, I also try to enrich the conversations with different synonyms to words (not from the very beginning, rather at further stages of the learning process.
Ola was very friendly and came prepared. She spoke clearly and explained very well.
