I'm devoted and always prepared. I come to every class with the topics and presentations planned in advance, however you are the student here and you know best what you need to work on, so I'm always open to your suggestions. I'm patient and supportive, I don't believe in "not being smart enough", "not being able to learn"; anyone can learn if they devote some time and use the right techniques. I know that it's normal to forget things you've already learnt, so I am always taking notes to make sure you get enough revision. I'm also an inclusive teacher, always creating a safe space for my students. I want you to learn but also have a good time along the way.My lessons & teaching style
I'm happy to talk about anything you need, but I also love using different scenarios to make sure that you will be communicating easily in real life, encountering various problems and meeting different people. I love using videos, memes, newspapapers etc. I also make sure that you get enough revision, since it's normal to forget things. My lessons are funny and creative, but also full of useful topics. I always take your needs into account. If you are learing just to deliver simple messages I won't bother you with grammar to much, but if you need to prepare for an exam, grammar is what we will focus on. Wow, what a fantastic lesson! I was truly impressed with Patrycja's teaching style. She took time to gauge my level of Polish and understand my goals, asked great questions that got me talking and also planned a very engaging listening and speaking activity.
