My name is Yunus. I live in Turkey and I’m a native speaker of Turkish. I’ve been teaching Turkish to foreigners for almost ten years. I graduated from Istanbul University and completed my master's degree in the same field. I attended many programs and seminars on teaching Turkish to foreigners. I have “Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” certificate which is issued by Istanbul University. I can help you with basic language skills, writing, reading, daily language, exam preparation, pronunciation, speaking and so on. I like to travel abroad, make international friends, and talk about other cultures, languages, literature, history and art.I am open-minded, energetic,frienldy and positive.Me as a Teacher

In my classes, I follow a different method for each student. Although I usually focus on the conversation, I do not neglect other points. Because I believe that it is necessary to learn the language as a whole. It is very important for the student to be active in the lesson. I try to make sure that the students have fun as much as possible during lessons. Because motivation is of vital importance for both teacher and student. At the end of the lessons, you will realize that you have progressed a lot in terms of vocabulary, speaking, grammar and comprehension. 2016 - 2017
Turkish Teacher AKDEMI have gained extensive experience in this institute. I had the opportunity to meet many foreign students. At the same time, I had the opportunity to teach them Turkish. Our institute was located in Fatih. Since Fatih is an ancient place and located in the center of the city, I met people from many different cultures. This greatly enhanced my teaching experience. 2019 - 2022
Turkish Teacher Turkish Maarif FoundationIn 2019, I went to Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, to teach Turkish through the Turkish Maarif Foundation. Africa is a different geography. So teaching a language in this geography is a very different opportunity for a teacher. English and French are spoken in the country. Teaching there improved my teaching experience a lot. I also learned some French there.

If you're looking for structured lessons - which I think it's extremely important to learn a very logical language like Turkish - you should definitely have lessons with Yunus. He explains all grammar rules in a very clear and precise way. Furthermore, he is a very friendly, polite, punctual and professional teacher, besides being a highly cultured and intellectual person.
