A professional Swahili teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. Jambo! I’m a native Swahili speaker from Kenya with 10+ years’ teaching experience. I help students of all ages learn Swahili through real-life conversations and cultural stories. If you want to speak Swahili confidently and understand Kenyan life, I’m here to guide you. In my course of teaching, I have interacted with learners of different levels and age groups and you can count on me to meet you at your point of language need. See you in class! I enjoy teaching and learning that is student-based. For instance, my first class is usually an interactive session with learners to establish their language goals from which I can establish the methods of instruction and teaching material that best suits them. In general I like holding conversational talks to improve pronunciation as well as audio files. I use test templates for my students who are preparing for exams. I also use text documents as well as sharing my screen to display presentation slides. I give assignments for further practice.
