Hi! I'm Mariko. I am from Okinawa, Japan, and now I live in Fukuoka. I'm certified to teach the Japanese language. I have taught Japanese for over 4,000 hours. I used to work in accounting jobs in some Japanese companies. I like reading, cooking, watching anime, and American dramas. Of course, I love teaching Japanese. I enjoy talking with my students.

Me as a Teacher

I believe that enjoying learning is the most important thing. I create a relaxed atmosphere for learners and give easy-to-understand lessons. I enjoy talking with my students about Japanese culture, classics, anime, and sometimes cryptocurrency.

My lessons & teaching style

I will tailor lessons to suit your level and needs. For beginners, I will use textbooks like ”Minna no Nihongo,” "GENKI," or web material "Irodori." For JLPT preparation, I will use "Shin Kanzen Master," "JLPT Buddy," "日本語総まとめ" or "TRY." Let me know the text you have.
