Sara is a fantastic teacher! I have learned so much from her over the past 2.5 years and my Spanish has definitely improved. I love Sara's organized and structured lessons where she clearly explains concepts and then gives ample opportunity to practice. She provides homework to help students internalize the learning points, and gives numerous examples to help me improve. She is extremely friendly, motivating, and hardworking - she deeply cares about all of her students and has helped me thrive! She is also excellent at providing varied practice so I could improve my oral, listening, and writing skills. When I first started my lessons with Sara, I knew some grammar points from my high school classes, but I had mostly forgotten them. Because of Sara, she helped me learn so much that I can now speak with more confidence and ease. Thank you Sara - you have been an incredible teacher these past few years and I have loved all of our lessons!

If you truly want to be fluent in Spanish, and have the discipline & dedication to put in the work week over week to achieve this – then Sara is the right tutor for you. Sara is extremely organized and a phenomenal guide on the journey to learning a language. With over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish on learning platforms like Italki, she first assesses your current capabilities and then customizes a roadmap/gameplan to improve your Spanish. If you feel that the plan needs to slow down or speed up, Sara has the flexibility to adjust in real time. Sara comes prepared to every class with activities, drills, tests and conversation topics to ensure you are progressing and reaching your language goals. With the help of Sara, I have gone from a beginner level, barely being able to put sentences together, to now, being able to confidently have full conversations with native speakers.

Although I have only started with Sara, I can see why she comes so highly recommended. The classes are organized and thoughtful, and everything builds on prior lessons. I used to look at Spanish lessons as means to an end; however, I now have embraced the process and am looking forward to improving in the upcoming weeks and months.

Sara is a peerless teacher from my experience, and I've had a few teachers. I've been taking lessons with her for almost 3 years and she's super organised, her classes are challenging but interesting, and she's got an amazing personality too, so will keep you entertained throughout. She's also super patient, attentive and will correct all your errors mid-conversation, thus helping you improve more quickly. Sara is a consummate professional, however like anything in life you get out what you put in, but it's important to choose a teacher like Sara who works very hard to help you as an individual and continuously improves her classes and techniques. She also develops her own supplementary resources including podcasts and magazines to support the learning process outside of classes. What more could you want?

After over 50 lessons, I can't express enough how disappointed I am that I didn't find Sara sooner. I've tried numerous classes and teachers in the past, but none have been as organized, professional, and creative as hers. Every class is meticulously planned with an agenda, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. I have noticed significant progress in my skills. Sara is always kind in her corrections and understands when I'm feeling frustrated because we communicate respectfully. She consistently encourages me by being honest about my progress and improvements—unlike other teachers who offered insincere praise. I'm genuinely looking forward to another 50 lessons! Without a doubt, she stands out as the top teacher on the platform.

I want to add some context to my previous review where I described Sara as a tiger mom. I’ve taken 236 classes on this platform, 42 of those with Sara. Prior to working with Sara, I felt plateaued, good enough to BS my way through classes with other teachers yet still plagued by a number of weaknesses that nobody knew how to, or cared to, address. Enter Sara. Her genius has been in calibrating her classes and her expectations to my growth edge, which for me is a place that is super mentally challenging. But at no point has she been anything less than the utmost in terms of kindness, support, and attentiveness. She threads the needle artfully. And it is for that reason that I offer the highest recommendation. Whatever your growth edge is, I’m confident she can find it without overwhelming you.
