My name is Γιάννης, and I am from Greece, where I currently live. I have many different hobbies. I am deeply interested in history both on a Greek and international level. In my free time I also enjoy drawing. Often I take trips in natural reserves, as I love birdwatching and nature photography.Me as a Teacher
I graduated from the Department of Education in Greece in 2019. Since then I been teaching the Greek language. I have worked with various students, from adults that learn the Greek as a foreign languange to primary school children in Greece. In that way, I am very flexible with the teaching methods I am using in my lessons.My lessons & teaching style
All these years that I worked in the education sector, I have realized that each person is different in many ways, including learning. Considering this, I focus on the individual needs of my students, and I plan my lessons accordingly. That's why I use a variety of different resources in my lessons.
Every language has two important aspects: grammar and actual usage and performance. You need to know how to form a correct sentence in Greek, but it is equally important to know how to use the things you learned to communicate. This is why I emphasize everyday vocabulary, encouraging my students to participate actively.

I've had thousands of lessons in various languages over the years, and Giannis is the best teacher I've had yet. He's intelligent, funny, and explains everything in simple Greek so that I can improve my listening comprehension and vocabulary. Exactly the kind of lessons I've been looking for. He gives me hope that one day I will actually manage to speak this beautiful and challenging language well. Highly recommended, five big stars!
