Timpika

Kru Timpika has helped me go from a beginner in Thai to passing the ultimate test - taking a two-week tour of Thailand and being able to communicate in Thai in almost any scenario. I always knew I could learn vocabulary and phrases on paper, but I was pleasantly surprised when local Thais understood what I was saying and responded back in Thai. But enough about me. Kru Timpika is a very effective teacher. An hour-long lesson will just fly by because she is a patient and pleasant person, but she will also keep you on task and making progress each week. Lessons are flexible depending on your personal goals; conversation, reading, travel tips, learning Thai culture, etc. Always professional; on time, focused, quality internet connection, quiet learning environment. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Thank you Timpika!

Om-Amm is wonderful. she is patient and really help guide you through speaking properly. Encourages you as you try to remember and reacts with posifeedback when you get it right while providing gentle guidance when you get it wrong. She genuinely seems to be happy when you succeed and improve. She provides an excellent balance between quizzing you on what you've learned in the past and pushing you to advance your speaking skills.

Without knowing it, it has already been I think 30+ lessons with Timpika and I look forward to every one, as Timpika has evolved to be not just my teacher but also a friend and confidante who gives me great insight into Thai culture. Beyond that, I (feel like I have) improved leaps and bounds with the Thai language, going from someone who only remembered some letters of the alphabet to someone who can now read and write Thai (most of the time if I concentrate). I'm grateful to witness my Thai improve and I'm even happier Timpika is the one leading this journey. She's a great teacher!

Timpika is a very good teacher. She would make anyone feel comfortable speaking in a foreign language by her sheer presence. Soft and Calm. Reassuring. Her english is also very good, which comes in handy for beginners like me. I generally try a lot of teacher in all of the languages I study (3 of them on Italki), and then stick to one or two. I have over 200 lessons on Italki alone. And many on Preply before. She is one of my favorite teachers. She also has very high availability.

Kru Timpika has an excellent command of both the Thai and English languages, which helps to facilitate learning. Perhaps her English is better than mine:)
