About Me

Hello. My name is Grace. I have been teaching English as a Second Language online since 2014. I think that Italki is an amazing platform and I enjoy speaking with people. I have two degrees and 3 certifications. I have have a Degree in Business Management, a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, and several teaching licenses.
A message to my Italki students:
I work in a Public School, my availability is limited to Saturdays and school holidays. I have the most availability in November, December, and June / July.
I started teaching English when I lived in Peru.

Classroom Rules and Policies:
Booking Policy - Please allow for more than 24 hours before booking a class.
(Do not book a class that has less than 24 hours before the start of class.)
Cancellation Policy - Usually it is possible to reschedule your class with me,
however cancellations within 24 before the class will be charged for the full amount.

It is better to use a laptop or computer for class.
Phones and Ipads are small, hard to read, and difficult to share lesson materials with.
Always bring a notebook to class. This notebook should be dedicated to English vocabulary.My lessons & teaching style
My classes can move quickly. Each class beings with a short review of the previous class.
I use material to teach grammar points, vocabulary, speaking, listening and reading.
I provide all the tools for my students to become independent and confident.

Teaching License for the State of Georgia - Ga PSC - 2023This is my teaching license from the State of Georgia in the United States. It allows me to teach Elementary in public schools in the United States. To get it I had to pass 2 rigorous exams called the GACE. I also had to successfully complete and undergraduate degree. My school has required teachers to get a Masters degree as well, I am currently doing a Masters in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University, expected to graduate Spring 2026. I am currently a 4th grade teacher.
