Hello everyone! My name is Marcel, I'm from Poland but currently I live in Thessaloniki, where I study Modern Greek Philology and dance in a semi-professional traditional Greek dance group. I've been learning Greek by myself for most of the time, reaching the C2 level in 2024. Since then, I've taught Greek privately, mostly to my friends. I have also been teaching Polish for some time now!Me as a Teacher
The most important thing to me is to help you find and fulfil your goals in the most efficient and fun way possible! As cliche as it sounds, that's what I've been doing for myself and my friends and it's possibly the most rewarding part of teaching - following the student along in their journey. My lessons & teaching style
I will immediately adjust my approach not only to your goals but also to the level of engagement or the time you have (that also includes homework, I know, yikes!). Whether you want to indulge in Kazantzakis, Kavafis, Mickiewicz, Słowacki, or prefer just getting by while ordering a frappe or a hotdog in żabka, we will work something out together!
Naturally, my students can contact me after the lessons anytime they need consulting or perhaps if they've seen a weird Greek or Polish ad and want me to help translating the (for sure) funny pun used.My teaching material

Markelos is super easy-going, which makes the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable, yet at the same time very professional and clearly well-equipped with linguistic knowledge. The lesson covered grammar, phonetics and also interesting trivia about Greek culture. Will surely recommend!
