Hi! I'm Tim. I study Psychology. I'm from the Netherlands and I live close to Amsterdam. I like to broaden my knowledge about everything health and food related. I also like to play games, play sports, travel and keeping up with the latest news, for example politics. I've always been interested in cultures around the world and I am currently learning Spanish (A1).Me as a Teacher
I have several years of experience tutoring primary and secondary school students and have always received positive feedback regarding to my tutoring style. I always try to create a safe environment where making mistakes is not a bad thing, but a way to improve yourself. With me you don't have to be afraid to ask anything. I will always answer your questions as best and as calmly as possible.My lessons & teaching style
During my lessons I want to give you confidence in speaking the language. There are many ways to learn (a language) and I'm very aware that each person needs a different approach. During our lessons we'll practice mostly through having conversations, but we can also practice topics that you find difficult. I believe in learning from context and learning in different ways to make it as fun and varied as possible. During our lessons I will write down the difficult words that are coming up during our conversation in a document so that you can go through them later.My teaching material
