Greek teacher with a love for unlocking the beauty of language 🪄 Γεια σας! Hello! 👋 I’m Andriana! 😀 I've studied ancient, medieval and modern Greek in the University of Athens and I specialize in modern Greek. I enjoy meeting new people, coming from different countries, languages and cultures. I love watching kdramas and traveling, but I spend most of my free time reading books 📖 I've been a teacher for the last three years and it's been so much fun! 💫 My lessons are always based on interactivity and the method I use is participatory learning, so my role as a teacher is to guide the student to create new knowledge through a series of engaging activities adjusted for each level and for each, unique student. I like to function as a teammate and a friend, guiding the student to construct blocks of knowledge through active engagement with the language. Grammar is important and I love it! But at the same time I like to keep it fun and casual. I love to analyze language through literature, history, and linguistics. I also love sharing this knowledge in a dynamic, fun way and I’m always curious about what the students’ passions are. That's why I encourage my students to share their interests so that we can build your learning together! I'd like to help you connect meaningfully with the language you’re learning, because one thing I've learnt while traveling is how languages thrive through curiosity and cultural exchange.
