Certified language teacher with 20 years' teaching experience My name is Agnes Ackermann and I come from Hungary. I am a qualified language teacher, I received my master degrees in the English and French teacher training programs and I am currently studying to be a Specialist Teacher of Hungarian as a Foreign Language in the postgraduate program of University of Pécs. I also graduated as an Economist in Business Administration and Management (BSC), Marketing (MSC) and European Politics. My mother tongue is Hungarian. I have been teaching English, French and Hungarian as a foreign language for more than 20 years now in different institutes and schools, both for groups of students and individual classes. In my lessons, beside practising general conversation in different topics and / or grammar skills, the students also have the opportunity to prepare for the Hungarian Citizenship Interview, the Hungarian Cultural Exam or practise the language of economics and tourism with me. My classes focus on the improvement of conversational skills, the extension of vocabulary and I can also provide the relevant grammar explanations and exercises. I use English as the mediatory language in class, if necessary. The lesson plan is always based on the wishes of the learners, for which I can provide my teaching material and homework tasks, when required. I consider myself a patient and positive person, who is enthusiastic about her profession. I am happy to meet new people and appreciate when someone is interested in the Hungarian language and culture.

Agi is an excellent teacher. She is patient, she knows the grammatic rules, she can explain very clearly and she supports and encourages me in my learning. Hungarian is one of the toughest language I've undertaken (no pronounds, no gender, no prepositions, etc), but Agi makes it fun and stimulating. I am always looking forward to my lessons with Agi!
