Vietnamese is a difficult language for many foreigners like myself, especially in the very beginning phases when everything seems unfamiliar and you're unsure of your pronunciation. Châu excels at creating a comfortable environment for students like me to learn the language at our own pace, focus on vocabulary and questions we are interested in, and sharing her knowledge about modern Vietnamese life and culture. Students with little prior background knowledge of Vietnamese are lucky to have a teacher like Châu!

I highly recommend this teacher, especially to beginners. She maintains a casual, friendly atmosphere and is highly competent. If you're not sure where to begin learning Vietnamese or think it may be too difficult, she is your best choice.
