¡Hola! Soy Alex, de España. He sido profesor e investigador de filosofía en la Universidad de Zaragoza, the University of Cambridge, the University of Melbourne y en 東京大学. Ahora trabajo como profesor universitario de español y filosofía en Japón y soy Investigador Principal de un proyecto de investigación sobre diálogo filosófico en el aula de español financiado por la Sociedad Japonesa para la Promoción de la Ciencia (JSPS). Disfruto explorando ideas y me motiva ver cómo mis estudiantes mejoran tanto su español como su pensamiento crítico. Fuera del aula, me gusta el ajedrez y la música. Creo que soy una persona divertida y alegre y hago todo lo posible para que estés cómodo/a en clase.

Wow what an incredible introduction to this platform— a very personal and creative teacher who cares about YOUR interests, philosophy, and how to expand your thinking in Spanish. I am extremely impressed and buzzing with excitement at the thought of being able to talk about what we discussed in the intro session and am grateful for the time he will spend outside of our sessions preparing. He is clearly a very compassionate and open-minded person who would adapt to any kind of student no matter what motivates them to learn. I cannot wait until the next week :)
