I have four different teachers on Italki, each teaching me a language I always wanted to learn. Syb is by far the best of all my teachers. She is patient, kind, discipline, and has expectations. Her lessons are interactive from beginning to end. She has you speak (and will kindly correct your mistakes), read (and will also correct your pronunciation), and do fun grammar exercises. I always thought grammar is boring, but not with Syb. She makes it really fun. I love my French teacher, Syb. Merci Syb! Jusqu'à la semaine prochaine.

I love my lessons with Syb. She is truly an amazing teacher. I love that she creates so many opportunities to speak in French and that her classes are structured where you are constantly practicing your listening and speaking skills. She is also super patient! I literally take five minutes to form one sentence but she never rushes me and encourages me to try. She is also so good at explaining grammar. Her lessons are well organized and I find myself improving. Merci :)

Sybille is a superb teacher. She is kind, patient, attentive, focused, and skilled at explaining difficult concepts. She takes the time to assess your level, then provides material best suited to your learning needs. Sybille's lessons are comprehensible and well-structured. They include listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation. She assigns focused and relevant homework, then corrects it to reinforce each lesson. I have tried a number of French teachers on this platform and they were all friendly and competent, but we either didn't communicate well or I didn't make as much progress as I hoped. Since I began working with Sybille, I have improved noticeably and consistently. If you want to move to the next level in French, I highly recommend that you book a lesson with her. You won't regret it.
