Experienced and qualified English teacher - IELTS and General English Hello! My name is Ben and I'm a professional teacher in London, England. I am a language teacher and learner - I'm currently working on French and Chinese. I also love to play tennis and chess, read, and watch films and TV shows. If you just want to practise your English in conversation, then I'd love to talk to you; however, I can also help you with structured lessons focusing on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or whatever else you'd like to improve. I have a blog with (hopefully) interesting reading materials about history and other subjects. Everything is 100% free. There are posts for a variety of different language levels: englearn.substack.com In my time working with students, I have learned to be adaptable; there isn't one approach that works for everyone. If you need someone who will look for very small mistakes in your speaking, then I can do that. Equally, if you would prefer a more relaxed learning environment and your goal is simply to be understood, then I can do that, too! My lessons are different for each student. The first time we speak I will assess your current level of English and we will decide on some learning goals together. The following lessons will be structured to work towards those goals.
