Certified Dutch Teacher - Feel Confident Speaking Dutch Hi, I’m Petra, an experienced Dutch teacher from Belgium with over 21 years of experience in education. I love helping students feel more confident speaking Dutch, whether you’re just starting out or preparing for your NT2 exams. Because I also speak English, French and Turkish, I understand that learning a new language can be both exciting and challenging, and I enjoy supporting students from different backgrounds. For me, learning Dutch is about more than grammar and vocabulary. I want you to feel comfortable using Dutch in real-life situations — at work, at school, in everyday conversations, and when connecting with people around you. I also enjoy sharing insights into Belgian and Dutch culture along the way. My teaching style is warm, patient and encouraging. I believe you learn best when you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and simply giving it a try. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, travelling, cooking and meeting new people. These interests keep me curious and open-minded, and they often bring new topics and ideas into my lessons. Whether you’re learning Dutch for work, study, daily life or simply because you want to communicate more confidently, I’d love to help you on your journey.
