Living in Berlin, Germany

Native British English speaker, 19 years teaching experience. Specialising in IELTS, FCE exams. Hi, I'm Roy, a British English teacher with 19 years of experience helping ADULT students improve their English and achieve their goals. I specialise in IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation (PET, FCE, and CAE), helping students develop the skills, strategies, and confidence they need to succeed. I also enjoy working with learners who simply want to speak more naturally, improve their pronunciation, and build confidence in everyday conversations. Every lesson is tailored to you. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your English for work, or just looking to become a more fluent speaker, I'll create lessons that match your needs and interests. I enjoy talking about history, films, travel, current affairs, and many other topics, so our conversations are always engaging and relevant. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and practical, with plenty of opportunities to speak and receive useful feedback. If you're looking for an experienced, patient teacher who will help you communicate with confidence, I'd love to work with you. Get in touch, and let's start your English journey together!
