In the past years, I have taught many people:
Beginners, studying the basics of the French language
Advanced, looking for a conversational practice
Children, (from the age of 4) looking for a playful way to learn and check their homework

My biggest objective is to make our class enjoyable and productive
I begin my lessons with introductions so we can get to know each other and be less formal
This allows me to assess your level, needs, expectations, and your hobbies
Then I adapt the class according to who you are and what you like:
For example, if you are passionate about football, you can tell me the last game you saw or played, or if you need to go to Paris for a trip, we can simulate a situational conversation
Then I will correct any pronunciation or grammatical mistakes with explanations and small exercises

Charlotte is an exceptional teacher. I have had several classes with her in my quest to learn French. She is patient, corrects mistakes immediately, can explain the rules of French in an easy to understand way. She has a wonderful personality and is very easy to converse with on a variety of subjects. She’s well-traveled and wise beyond her years. She is extraordinarily thoughtful and thinks about her students outside of the scheduled class times. There were several instances where she sent information my way because she thought I would be interested for myself or for my young child. She has helped me learn about French culture and the French way of thinking as well as pointing me in the right direction for more everyday practical things like stores and marchés. Overall, I could not recommend her more because my French would not have improved without her help.
