Easy-to-Understand Korean Lessons | 1000+ Hours Taught | 5 Years in China & 4 Years Translating Hi, I'm Hyungmin, a native Korean currently living in Seoul. I lived in China for five years, where I worked and studied the Chinese language and met people from many different countries. I hold a Level 2 Korean Language Teaching Certificate and have taught Korean for over 1,000 hours in the past two years. I also work as a Chinese-to-Korean translator specializing in education, which gives me deeper insight into language learning. Having learned Chinese and English as an adult, I understand the challenges learners face — and how to overcome them. This journey helps me teach Korean in a clear and relatable way. I’ve mainly taught Korean online to students from various countries. Over the past two years, I’ve accumulated over 1,000 hours of teaching experience. Thanks to working with such a wide range of learners, I’ve developed a deep understanding of different cultures and learning styles. To me, learning a language isn't just about memorizing words and grammar — it's also about understanding the culture behind it. That's why I always try to explain Korean in a way that connects language with culture, especially when you encounter tricky or unfamiliar concepts.
