From Small Talk to Big Meetings | Practical English with an American Engineer Hi, I’m Mack! I’m a native English speaker from the United States, based in Bangkok, with 5+ years of teaching experience. I’ve taught 1,500+ lessons on Preply, where I’m a Top 10% tutor with 37 student reviews. I help adults speak English more naturally and confidently through relaxed, practical conversations tailored to their interests and goals. With 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, startups, and international business, I’m especially well suited to professionals who want to communicate clearly at work. WHAT WE CAN WORK ON - Everyday conversation, fluency, and natural phrasing - Business English, meetings, and presentations - Technical and behavioral job interviews - Explaining your ideas, projects, and experience clearly - Pronunciation, practical vocabulary, and common mistakes - Technology, travel, culture, and topics you enjoy MY TEACHING STYLE You’ll do most of the speaking. I’ll give you useful corrections, natural alternatives, and clear explanations without constantly interrupting the conversation. Lessons are friendly, flexible, and focused on English you can actually use. No rigid textbooks or unnecessary homework. Best suited for intermediate to advanced adults (B1–C1+). Book a lesson, tell me what you’d like to improve, and let’s get talking!
