Hello everyone, I am Ahmad Zubair Muhammadzai from Afghanistan, and currently living in Kabul. I am a native Dari (Persian) speaker and fluent in English. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. I have been teaching English and Persian for more than 4 years, working with learners of all ages and levels. I love interacting with people from different backgrounds and sharing cultural knowledge.Me as a Teacher
I hold a diploma in Public Policy from Kabul University Extension. In addition, I am certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), having completed both 60-hour and 80-hour TEFL courses, as well as a 20-hour certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL).
I have over three years of experience teaching Dari (Persian), both in one-on-one and group settings, including more than three years of online instruction. My teaching experience has allowed me to effectively support learners of various backgrounds and proficiency levels in developing their language skills. My lessons & teaching style
I provide conversational, grammatical, and vocabulary lessons. I enjoy discussing a variety of topics, including information about the student and their family, their hometown, occupation, education, social circle, colours, shapes, sizes, numbers, emotions, days of the week, daily routines, food, transportation, current events, travel, sports, cultures, seasons, and weather. Each class is tailored to the individual student's needs and goals. My objective is to make learning enjoyable, stress-free, and engaging for all learners.My teaching material

2021 - 2024
Dari Language TeacherAt the Kabul Language and Training Center, I taught Dari to students of different backgrounds and levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My focus was on building strong communication skills through interactive lessons, role plays, and real-life examples. I also incorporated reading materials, writing exercises, and cultural topics to make learning both practical and enjoyable.
2019 - 2020
Dari Language TutorI worked as a private Dari tutor, providing one-on-one and small group lessons to both local learners and foreigners. My teaching focused on conversational Dari, grammar, and everyday vocabulary, tailored to the students’ personal and professional needs. I also guided students in understanding Afghan culture and traditions to enhance their language learning experience.

This was our second class and it was good conversation practice for me. Ahmad is both professional and laid back. I feel like he speaks in a natural way with me and he asks questions to encourage me to speak. He seems to be familiar with several different topics which makes for interesting conversations.
