🌷Communicative Roleplay Turns Textbook Grammar into Real Speaking Hi, I'm Mizue, your supportive Japanese Language Navigator. With twenty years of teaching experience, I help beginners and lower-intermediate students turn textbook grammar into real, confident speaking skills. Many students study hard and understand grammar perfectly, but still freeze up in real conversations. That's because grammar knowledge alone doesn't build speaking speed. My teaching method is built on three core pillars to close that gap. First, we build accurate grammar using Minna no Nihongo — not just working through the textbook, but using illustrations and applied practice exercises so the rules truly stick. Second, we practice real, naturally-used conversations through Communicative Method roleplay, recreating everyday situations like ordering food, asking directions, or chatting with coworkers, so the right phrases come out automatically when you need them. Third, we take the Keigo (polite Japanese) rules you've learned and put them into live conversation practice, so you can use polite Japanese confidently in real situations, not just recognize it on paper. Throughout every lesson, I explain complex grammar and social nuances in clear, simple English, and I keep my own talking time short so you get the spotlight for practical speaking practice.
