Hello! I am Mizue.
I live at the foot of Mount Fuji, which is about an hour's journey by bullet train from Tokyo.
I am a freelance Google Search Quality Rater, and also teach both English and Japanese online and offline.
I love dancing and take dance lessons twice a week. I like movies and dramas, and I also watch anime and read manga.

I have been teaching Japanese online since 2024 and offline since 2025.
I have been working in language education for over 20 years. By combining the teaching methods I learned through TEFL and my own experience as a language learner, I offer kind and careful support to help students learn natural, up-to-date Japanese.

My lessons are perfect for students who are new to Japanese. Lessons begin with greetings and simple phrases, moving at a comfortable pace. I use textbooks such as "Genki", "Minna no Nihongo", "Marugoto", and “Irodori”, all of which teach expressions that are useful in everyday situations. English support is available to help beginner students feel confident and supported.

Another amazing lesson! Mizue was kind and professional, she guided me through the entire lesson, which she divided into a review part and a new topic part. I am grateful for the lesson and I will surely book another one!

The lesson was very enjoyable, Mizue-san was very kind and created a comfortable environment in which I could express myself without being scared or making mistakes. She also prepared some material beforehand to gauge my level, and at no point did I feel like it was out of my level. She encouraged me and explained my mistakes clearly and without making me feel bad for them.
I will definitely continue my lessons with her!
