Hello! My name is Aurora and I’m 24 years old.
I live in a little town near Florence, Tuscany, a wonderful region in central Italy.
My biggest passion is cooking; I love trying recipes from all over the world and would be happy to share some of my Italian favorites!
I love animals. I had a dog, but unfortunately, she passed away a few months ago. I’m a dog person, but I’m slowly becoming friends with cats too! I am a vegetarian and I would like to become vegan within next year.
I try to travel abroad whenever I have the time because I love getting to know different cultures.
We can talk about anything! Art, music, food, sports, gossip… anything you can think of!Me as a Teacher
I like to plan carefully every lesson. I assign homework only if you want me to. I hope you will never feel judged or discouraged with me: that would be a huge loss for me. My lessons & teaching style
I know the struggles of learning a new language and being scared to make mistakes. My goal is to create a stress-free environment where learning is actually fun and relaxing! 2023 - 2024
Teacher's assistantThanks to an internship opportunity, I have been able to help a professor with three classes. The students were all adults and foreigners. The level of the classes ranged from A0 to B2. I'm extremely grateful for this experience because it has helped me to understand the struggles to learn Italian as a foreign language. Besides, I'm grateful for the wonderful students that I have got to know, who have taught me as much as I have.

I have studied for the whole second year at the University of Zagreb, in the Italian Department, getting to know the struggles of non-native speakers in studying Italian.

2021 - 2023
Bachelor’s - Linguistic and Cultural MediationI studied Italian, English and Russian language and culture, focussing on linguistics. I have also attended several courses on how to teach a foreign language. During my third year, I have studied at the University of York as an international student for a whole semester. I graduated with 110/110.
