Mégane

I have now been taking lessons with Mégane for one year. When we started, I could only say a few of the basic survival phrases. Now, one year later, we have smooth, deep conversations on philosophy, thorny political matters, religion, family, relationships, world events, and anything else that interests me. She knows how to ask just the right questions to keep the conversation interesting and flowing and I always feel like I'm having a spontaneous conversation in a real-world scenario. Mégane has become more than a tutor to me - she is a good friend. Her demeanor is perfect for a teacher of any level. She is patient, corrects without disrupting the flow of conversation, sends detailed after-lesson reviews of vocabulary and phrases, prepares in advance for each lesson, and is at once professional and friendly. As long as Mégane is teaching, I'll be her student. She's just a wonderful person and a joy to talk to.

Mégane is a great teacher. As a beginner, I really appreciate how she structures and tailors the lessons to build confidence and suit my needs. Her lessons are well-organized, and she gets you speaking French right away. She’s patient, easy to talk to, and always offers helpful corrections in a supportive way. The lessons feel comfortable but productive, and I’ve already learned a lot — she makes French feel less intimidating and more approachable.

After three months of lessons with Mégane, I have gone from barely being able to say a few phrases to having meaningful (though still slow and simple) conversations in French. Mégane is an absolute joy to have as a teacher and conversation partner. She is everything you would want in an instructor - caring, patient, knowledgeable, and FUN! I look forward to many more months and even years of discussions with Mégane.

Megan is an extremely patient and knowledgeable French teacher. I have come to look forward to our regular sessions as she guides me through conversations and is always so polite and encouraging at my numerous mistakes. She always comes prepared and is happy to work at my pace. I would strongly recommend Megan.
