Avid language learner, acting as an enabler to your own linguistic addiction! I grew up in 80s-90s Athens, Greece. A big part of my adult life, has been abroad, in Spain, and now in Germany, where I've been for the past 7 years. I love travels, cooking(eating!!!) and playing music: guitar, harmonica & percussion. I've always loved learning languages, getting in touch with different cultures. Through the years, I've gathered a few expressions and basic words, in a number of languages, some close to the ones I know, others completely irrelevant!I always approached my learning process, based on interests and necessities. My first goal? Communication! I love language learning but sometimes, I lack the discipline to sit and write an essay, or study grammatical forms. I have explored various ways of tackling with this problem, implementing things I like to do, like e.g watching a favorite film, with the dubbing of the target language, or analyzing lyrics to a song I like! This is the type of playful energy I try to have in my classes. I am here as a teacher, but from the perspective of a fellow language learner, sharing some tricks and accompanying you to advance faster on your learning trip! You don't have to be fluent to get across the message effectively! That is the premise on which I base my lessons. The basic goal of my classes (at any level you might be) is to improve your communication skills, and gather a personalized handbook of vocabulary & expressions, based on your daily needs. Start using the things you know and keep building the rest on top!

My first lesson with Asterios went great, it was really well-prepared, stuctured and engaging, with many interesting and entertaining materials provided. It's also nice that Asterios suggests some further practice based on different materials so I feel motivated to get some more practice on my own.

Asterios is an amazing tutor! The lesson was very well-structured and tailored to my needs. During the lesson, I felt very comfortable speaking. We practiced listening and speaking, which was exactly what I needed. Asterios is very patient and encouraging. His approach to the language is very immersive and natural. I feel that with lessons like this, I will improve fast and learn to speak naturally. I highly recommend him!
