I am native-English (brought up and educated in England), a Language & Literature graduate; I am passionate about music, film and theatre; a lover of all things Italian; voice-over artist and actor-singer

Me as a Teacher

My theatre background means that, as a teacher, I am dynamic and communicative. I place great emphasis on building up speaking skills; I also coach presentation skills and strategies for successful discussions. I focus on correct pronunciation and the rhythms of natural speech.

My lessons & teaching style

I tailor my lessons to the needs of my students; I use everyday situations and stimulating topics to practise the language; I make sure that there is a mix of reading, speaking and listening, backed up by some grammar practice and short writing tasks. My goal in each session is to use my knowledge and skills to guide the student in practical ways and to make sure that studying together is rewarding.
