My name is Mathias and I have an interest in both learning and teaching languages.
I am currently a philosophy student at university, and I like to fill my free time with exercise, martial arts and generally being social.
My interests are extremely varied, so we'll definitely have common interests to talk about. Whether it's sports, psychology, cars or whatever, I will always find a way to yap about itMe as a Teacher
I want to make you comfortable with making mistakes. My priority is making the process enjoyable and fun, instead of making it school-like and boring.
I believe in Stephen Krashen's way of acquiring languages (like babies do). If you learned English as your second language, I will try my best to replicate that process. My lessons & teaching style

- Improve how you learn on your spare time
- Focus on the fundementals

Mathias gives great tips and guidance about how to learn Norwegian, and will adapt to a more neutral dialect if needed. He understands that everyone has their own pace and he wants to make sure you have plenty of fun while learning. He's a good tutor! I do recommend without hesitation! :)

I've been looking for more teachers to have conversations with, and if that's your goal too, Mathias is a great choice. He's very engaged and present during conversations, and he can switch topics smoothly. He's also a funny guy and was able to move easily between his native dialect and Bokmål, which was really helpful.
