Andrea is one of the best teachers I've ever had! She is so patient, and facilitates great conversation tailored to the specific student she's talking to. It's clear she cares a lot about her students, and I've felt that she connects very well with me, and gets very curious about my interests to create really engaging lessons. Andrea creates a very safe environment where I don't feel afraid or guilty of making mistakes, and I look forward to our lesson every week! Andrea is the best :)

Andrea is an exceptional teacher. She is engaging, patient, and brings a great deal of energy to every class. Her teaching style is truly unique, and she consistently provides thoughtful feedback after each lesson to support continued learning. She encourages you to speak freely to build confidence, and then offers clear guidance to help you refine and solidify what you know. Her sense of humor makes the learning environment enjoyable, and she is, overall, a wonderful person to work with. You can learn a great deal about everyday life, as well as region specific expressions that add authenticity and richness to your Spanish. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

I am trying to get more speaking practice in because of all my skills in Spanish, speaking is the most difficult for me and I get very shy. I am a yapper in English and in Spanish that all disappears. Andrea provides a space for you to speak at your own pace and I particularly enjoyed that the last few minutes were used for corrections. Also, appreciate the resources shared at the end of class including a guide that talks about inclusive Spanish.

I have greatly enjoyed taking lessons with Andrea and I've learned so much already in just a few weeks! I highly recommend her for anybody thinking about learning Spanish! She is incredibly patient and kind, and she makes me feel very comfortable to try things out and make mistakes. The lessons feel like having a good chat with a friend, and you get to learn so much about the Mexican culture & dialect while learning the language itself. I am always looking forward to the next class!
