I had the pleasure of taking a Spanish lesson with Sofia today, and I can confidently say she is one of the best teachers I’ve come across on Italki. I’ve been meeting with various tutors for conversational practice, but Sophia truly stood out. From the very beginning, the session was warm, welcoming, and engaging. She has a natural ability to create a comfortable environment that makes speaking and learning feel effortless. The conversation flowed easily, yet it was structured and purposeful - she has a great sense for balancing fun with productivity. Sofia’s teaching style is encouraging, attentive, and professional. She listens carefully, provides helpful feedback, and gently guides you toward improvement without ever making you feel pressured. I left the lesson feeling both more confident in my Spanish and genuinely excited to learn more. As always Sofia challenged my skills by asking me to explain things I don’t usually talk about in Spanish! I learned about some ways that reflexive verbs do NOT work in Spanish today too! Como siempre muchas gracias maestra!

Sofia is hands down the best Spanish tutor I’ve ever worked with. Her classes are consistently engaging, clear, and well-structured, and she always finds a way to make the material both challenging and enjoyable. Beyond her teaching skills, she’s a genuinely great person. I’ve made more progress with her than with any other tutor, and I always look forward to our sessions. Highly recommend!

Sofia as always is very energetic and outgoing. We talked in depth about music and art and how people develop different skills. I learned how to say "drum fill" today! As always Sofia corrects me on the fly without interrupting the flow. Muchas gracias!

Sofia is very nice and a great conversational partner. She has an amazing energy, I felt great during the lesson. It was like talking to a friend over a cup of coffee. She was able to gentle correct me and teach me new words without me even noticing it :) Really recommend her classes.
