Hello! My name is Barry, I am 25 years old and I am a native English speaker with extensive tutoring experience, born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. I have studied my native language up to a higher level of SCQF level 6 and in addition to this, I am currently in the process of doing my TEFL Level 5 certificate (teaching English as a foreign language).
I am a photography student here in Scotland with a strong passion for travel and I have now visited 40 countries, therefore I am very excited to meet you all, learn about your home country and most importantly, improve your English through relaxed, fun classes!Me as a Teacher
I have over 600 hours of both in person and online teaching experience which I have accumulated over a period of 2 years. I have studied English up to a higher level of SCQF level 6 and in addition to this, I am currently in the process of doing my TEFL Level 5 certificate (teaching English as a foreign language). I also speak Spanish at level B2 and am constantly working and improving this throughout my own language learning journey.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons vary depending on the students needs, goals, current level and learning style. I offer classes to students of all levels, from absolute beginner to more advanced students who would like to maintain their English fluency through conversational practice!
I know that every student learns differently, and what works for one student, might not work for another! therefore every class will be unique to each person, and we will adjust it to suit the best form of learning for you, pushing your English further with every class!My teaching material
