Me as a Teacher

I’m here to let you know a bit about me: I was born in the United States 🇺🇸, but recently moved to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 for a fresh start. As a native English speaker, I’ve experienced firsthand the richness of two of the most influential English-speaking cultures in the world. At 16, I applied to a prestigious linguistic university—all without my parents knowing. They dreamed of me becoming a doctor, but I made my own choice, forging my own path. There’s no “secret formula” for success—it’s about following what you love. 🏅 Over the last decade, I’ve traveled to 47 countries ✈️, connecting with fascinating people from all walks of life.

I’m here to tell you that English isn’t about textbooks📚, study guides, strategies, or sticky notes 🪧 plastered with vocabulary words. It’s not about notebooks filled with explanations of what the “Present Perfect tense” is all about. English is you and the world around you! You—and only you—should be at the center of your language journey, and I’d love to be your guiding light 💫 to support and inspire you on this beautiful, exciting path 🚸 toward mastering a new language.
