I am grateful to Maria for her outstanding teaching style and the relaxed atmosphere she creates during her lessons. Over the course of 1.5 years, I really enjoyed her structured approach to learning, which greatly contributed to my progress. Maria is definitely the best English teacher I have ever had and probably one oft the best teachers on italki. The lessons are very varied and never boring. She uses a whiteboard to visualise the most important content, which is very helpful for me. Also, she is very patient and motivating at the same time. I'm already looking forward to the next classes :-)

Maria really dives right in and has a plan of attack for getting you speaking right away and improving your speech in Czech. She gets you out of your shell right away and improves your confidence, getting you thinking on your feet and conversational in each class. She finds ways to work with where you are to get the most out of each class. I’m very excited to keep improving my Czech with Maria!
