Hello! I'm Dave, and I live in beautiful northern Minnesota, where I love exploring the outdoors. Whether it's hiking, e-biking, kayaking, or even camping in the middle of winter, nature is where I feel most at home. Music is another big passion of mine—I’ve been playing drums since I was a kid and now enjoy playing bass guitar, guitar, and learning the keyboard. I also enjoy modifying my guitars to make them truly my own. I’m a language enthusiast too, currently learning Spanish.Me as a Teacher

While I incorporate exercises and drills to help reinforce key concepts, my main focus is on speaking practice, as it’s the best way to build fluency and confidence. I use different materials, including Linguahouse lessons. Mistakes are welcome—they're an important part of learning. I use a variety of resources, including materials I’ve created myself, and screen sharing, to keep lessons engaging and effective. The lesson with Dave explains perfectly Einstein's theory of relativity - how time flies when you are having fun. Long story short, Dave's lesson is engaging and well structured. During the class, Dave helped me to navigate my pronunciation mistakes by designing various activities. This approach was helpful because it allowed me to look at those mispronounced words from different perspectives. After class, I can review those words, focusing on the specific consonant/vowel sounds that I struggled with.
